I was both surprised and honored to be the recipient of the Mary Birt Award for Mentorship. It is incumbent upon all of us, in the advancement world, to support and challenge each other to improve our craft. The idiom “a rising tide lifts all boats” is appropriate in the education advancement industry as our collective success creates better student experiences. I enjoy connecting with, sharing with, and learning from counterparts and contemporaries in independent schools across the country.” - 2022 Mary Birt Award for Mentorship Recipient, Nicholas Weedon, St. Andrew’s College.

"Winning a Rising Star Award is like stepping onto a launching pad of recognition and opportunity. It's a validation of my hard work and a signal that I am on a trajectory toward even greater achievements. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mary Anne Marchildon and Chad Holtum for the invaluable nomination. Your belief in me has ignited a spark of motivation that drives me to reach new heights. I am genuinely thankful for your recognition and the support I have received from my team at Glenlyon Norfolk School and ISAP." - 2022 Rising Star Award Recipient, Sarah O’Kelly-Lynch, Glenyon Norfolk School.

As the 2022 recipient of the ISAP Rising Star Award, it was an honor to be recognized by my peers across the country. The award provided me with a sense of validation and motivation and boosted my confidence to continue to strive for excellence. In addition, the award improved relationships and collaboration amongst our internal team to have a colleague recognized nationally.” - 2022 Rising Star Award Recipient, Sandie Atkinson, St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Secondary School
